WELCOME TO TRANSGENDER 2009, the
Liberty Conference.
We take this opportunity to personally invite you to attend this conference being held April 30 to May 2, 2009, at the Philadelphia Airport Hilton, Philadelphia, PA.
Over the last ten years, TransEvents USA Inc. has produced many successful conferences for the
International Foundation for Gender Education; but starting in 2009, the
Liberty Conference will be an independent event, organized and managed by a local committee working with TE USA. The Philadelphia Airport Hilton has proven to be an excellent venue for a transgender conference. Philadelphia is a friendly, cosmopolitan city, with much to offer visitors of all interests. The hotel location offers easy access by several major interstate highways, the railroad, and an airport served by all major airlines.
To assist our vendors, we have made many changes from previous events. Both pre and general registered vendors will be listed on our website, where we will publish a blurb (that you write) describing your products and services and put a link to your website. Also, we will be listing our vendors in the program book that every attendee receives. As part of your vendor registration, you receive a complimentary black and white ad in our program book, which can be up to a full page — saving you $250. In addition, we have changed the traffic flow at the hotel so that all attendees will go through the vendor area on the way to all the luncheons and dinners. Finally, to show our appreciation for being a part of the
Liberty Conference, we will host a private dinner for all full booth vendors on Wednesday evening after vendor set up.
VENDOR SPECIAL DISCOUNTS AND BENEFITS
- A $25 discount for all vendors registered and paid in full by 10/15/2008.
- Many vendors like to present a workshop showcasing their products and giving educational ideas to the conference attendees. We offer 1/3 off the booth rental price for each presentation made. To qualify for this discount, you need to submit your vendor application AND a program proposal form (found on the website at Presenter Info) before 10/1/08.
- A special listing in the vendor section of the website.
- Up to a full page advertisement in the program book.
- Vender listing in our conference flyers if the application is received and paid in full by 10/15/08.
ADVERTISING
Advertising in our conference program book has proven to have far-reaching results. Not only do you reach over 300 people at the conference (and many take the book home for future reference) but it also is distributed to numerous other individuals and organizations not in attendance.
Get attention! You also have the opportunity to place your web banner on our website where it will be viewed over
3,000 times per day! The cost for this service is $300 for a full year placement. Please send us your banner and we will be pleased to place it on our home page.
SPONSORSHIP
This important function provides funds to support individual programs, activities, and speakers at the event, as well as conference scholarships for those that need them. To make sure you get the recognition you deserve, you can: have your banner hung on the wall of the ballroom visable at all meals; pass out promotional items at a conference meal or add them to our registration "goodie bag;" or have your organization listed in the program book as sponsoring a function. In short, we will help you find a way to promote your organization at the
Liberty Conference!

- Entertainment at the opening reception on Wednesday evening - $500
- Transportation to Spirit Cruse Thursday evening - $1,500
- Registration Name Badge holders with lanyards (provide what you already have. or $500 to sponsor ours)
- Opening session Keynote speaker $1,000
- Entertainment for Friday evening - $1,000
- Entertainment for Saturday Evening Gala $1,500
- Luncheon speakers $500
- And numerous other ways to support this exciting event
