The Empire Conference Returns To
Albany, New York · April 12-14, 2012
TransEventsUSA Inc. is pleased to announce the third annual EMPIRE CONFERENCE, the region's most successful transgender conference for all crossdressers, transgender people, transsexuals, the gender queer and the gender variant. Male to female and female to male, young and old, parents, friends, partners, and families of trans are all invited to attend.
TRANSGENERATIONS is the conference theme for 2012, and we will offer many new programs and workshops dealing with trans youth and trans seniors. Parents and partners are also encouraged to attend these important workshops and seminars.
And of course we'll have workshops with surgeons, doctors, therapists, voice specialists, makeup artists and many more. Just about every facet of transgender life will be included in these educational and entertaining workshops and seminars.
More to look forward to:
- An afternoon shopping trip to the Crossgates Mall, the region's premier shopping destination, featuring stores such as DSW, Bakers, Payless, Famous Footwear, Macy's, Express, Victoria's Secret, Lane Bryant, New York and Co., Express, H&M, Fredericks of Hollywood, The Limited and many, many more! It's going to be a great day and we'll have some seasoned mall-goers on hand to help you out and offer a bit of guidance.
- A brewery tour with dinner on Thursday
- A murder mystery dinner show, Toy Chest Trauma on Friday
- A debutante ball (especially for our "first timers") with entertainment from Albany singer-songwriter Melissa G. Clark, and dancing to music from DJ Truemaster

We are proud to host Lady Ellen's LeFemme Charm School as part of the Empire Conference. This unique program offers coaching and experience in all aspects of feminine presentation. And what would usually cost you hundreds of dollars in fees is all included in your conference registration!
School starts on Tuesday evening with a special registration reception — a great time to meet all of your "classmates." Wednesday morning, Lady Ellen will offer free appearance consultations and a Pre-Shopping Pep Rally before an excursion to Albany's largest mall for lunch and a great, fun-filled day of shopping. Wednesday evening, travel to the Capital District Pride Center for a special BBQ reception.
Thursday to Saturday, you can attend Lady Ellen's workshops on Make-up, Deportment, Posture and Graceful Movement as well as any of the other workshops offered by Trans community leaders. Lady Ellen and Kayla will have their shop open for the entire conference to do makeovers and consultations. Also included are three luncheons, Thursday evening dinner at the famous Albany Pump Station, Friday evening's Mystery Theater buffet, and the Saturday Debutante Ball, where Lady Ellen's students will receive their diplomas.
This program is meant for crossdressers who have never stepped out of the closet (but always wanted to) and those of us who need some help in our presentation.
